am i pregnant?

I'm 9days late and a test said I'm not pregnant . I've never been this late before I don't know what is happening or what to do.

Symptoms are really very poor indicator of pregnancy. There are too many things that can cause you to feel them, so it's best to not put too much thought in them. I would retest with a different test and see what it shows. Then you will be able to decide what and where to go next.

No not tried nothin as it keeps coming and going. I spoke to a friend who said i should try a different type of test so I think that is what i'm goin 2do at the end of the week if i have still not come on.
I have had some very weird things happening to me that don't normally happen like heartburn, faint pins and needles in my hands and feet and my boobs were not sore the week before i was due on like they normally are however now they are slightly tender.
I'm just so confussed and with the job I have sometimes I have to lift things that are quite heavy and if I was to be pregnant I wouldn't want to take any risks but i dont want to tell my boss incase im not and i just look silly sayin that i could be, I dont really like a fuss because before you know it, in this little town, everyone knows.

Pregnancy is only one reason to cause a late/delayed cycle. The human body is far from perfect and every female in their lifetime will experience a wonky cycle or two.

I know the store boots, but when I was in the UK I never actually was in there looking at their pregnancy tests so I'm not sure how good they are. I would try something a little more well known, such as a Clear Blue or First Response test. Pink dye is best to use if you can get it. Make sure to use this with first morning urine. If this too is negative, it would be assumed that the test would indeed be accurate and that you would not be pregnant.

As a side note, if you have heartburn it could be what's causing you to feel sick as well. Have you tried any antacids?

I have never been this late before apart from when I was pregnant with my son. I have got heartburn and feel sick but if the test says negative after bein 10 days late surely it must be right? Does it make difference if it was a boots own test.

See your doctor for blood work. It's possible to just be late, or it could be the test wasn't sensitive enough. If you don't yet want to see a doctor, retest and make sure to use first morning urine.
