We don't say what we do to be mean-- most people don't understand the consequences of their actions, and many teenagers are extremely stubborn and often refuse to listen and say it's their own life. While this IS true, it only is to an extent. When a child is brought into it, it is no longer about that teenagers life, but also about that newborn baby. I've watched far too many teenagers struggle for no reason all because they thought they were a special case and somehow exempt from pregnancy or thought they were ready for children and weren't. It's so important to think about every action you do, because just one time can completely destroy your entire future.
thank you so much i cried reading your message it touched me i appreciate you being hear for me i am thankful to get advice from everybody and i wil take every bit of it thank you xoxoxo an i will keep u posted =)
The long and short of it is...yes. you have a high chance of pregnancy. you are engaging in very risky behavior and you should probably look into getting on birth control and/or using condoms.
that's all. like Clysta said, your irregular cycles actually make it much easier for you to get pregnant accidentally so you need to be aware of this and extra vigilant.
if it turns out that you're pregnant, well..then... you're pregnant, an HPT around the time your period is due (even though it's irregular you can usually test 2 weeks from the last unprotected sex for an accurate result...and if it's negative but no period arrives, test every week or so up until your period either arrives or you get a positive test)... and if you ARE pregnant, then that ship has sailed (too late for lectures) and you're welcome to come back here to talk about your options and get support.
if you are NOT pregnant, take this as a lesson and be extra careful in the future, OK? I know you don't want to be a teen mom, and you're probably scared, but all you can do is figure out if you are pregnant or not and go from there.
best wishes hon, please keep us posted on what's happening with you, I'm worried for you.
Ok, but I still asked why are you having unprotected sex if you don't want to get pregnant? It doesn't matter how your cycle is, which actually makes your chances even higher since you don't know when you ovulate. I'm trying to understand why you don't think you'll get pregnant when you have unprotected sex. The whole point of sex is for procreation. Also, are you sure your partner/bf does not have STDs? Have you been tested? Since you are not using condoms, you are putting yourself at risk.
YOU SHOULD READ THE REST OF THE CONVERSATION BEFORE YOU POST ASKNG THE SAME QUESTION
ON MY LAST POST MY CUZIN WAS TRYING TO BE FUNNY AND POSTED YES ME PERSONLY I AM NOT
It's really confusing when you say you are not trying on this post, but in your last post when I asked you the same question, you said yes, you are trying to get pregnant. So which one is it? If you are truly not trying to get pregnant, why are you having unprotected sex?
Never, ever assume it won't happen. You're actually very wrong--this increases your odds of pregnancy. Most women will ovulate 2 weeks before their next is due and sperm survives for a week in the female body. Based on a 28 day cycle this places you in perfect timing for pregnancy. This is NOT a safe time for unprotected sex, so unless trying to conceive you should never do so.
am not trying get pregnant so please do not assume .. this is the first time this has ever happend to me .. i didnt think i was going to get pregnant becuse i had my period the week before i had sex
You've asked this question previously, and honestly you'll always get the same answer-- you have sex you risk pregnancy. You have unprotected sex you up those chances even more. Are you trying to get yourself pregnant? I assume so based on you having unprotected sex, which leads me to ask WHY would try to get pregnant at 16.
omg thank you soo much ur a lot of help and i will !! =)
Yes it's possible, if u miss your period take a hpt, keep us posted!
