I'm 5 weeks and I'm way sick on doctor said take a  zpack has anyone ever taken it while pregnant

I'm having baby number FIVE. and ice taken meds for infevowith ALL FIVE it had to be done i was sooooo sick and I'm due with number five June 20th everything seems fine so far. Other four are TOTALLY healthy fine smart never had an miscarriage Bcuz of it.  More then likely laurenda had the miscarriage Bcuz of the blow to the stomach yea that can cause a miscarriage. I'm sorry you had that. I had one yrs ago its tough mine wasn't from meds.

Yes i had to take it with one of my pregnacies and i had a miscarriage after words the doctor told me that the cause of the miscarriage was cause by a blow in my abdomen but i think it wad caused by the medication, and im not saying this to try and scare you.

Did your doctor know that you were pregnant when prescribing this medication?  Zithromax is FDA pregnancy category B. Zithromax is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby (but it doesn't mean it's 100% safe).  If you were that sick and your doctor knew you were pregnant he/she must have felt it was worth the slight risk.  I ended up having to take a couple category B medications during each of my pregnancies and I never felt comfortable with it, but both of my kids are very healthy, happy, and intelligent, so I don't think they were affected negatively! :)  If you are uncomfortable with taking it, just give your doctor a call, hopefully he/she could answer any more questions you may have! :)
