pregnant or not

Ok so I was a week late for my period.  I took a hpt (ept) 5 days after missed cycle. Results came bk positive.  I took another test the next day (answers) results came bk positive.  I also started my period that day too. I made an appt with my gp since my gyn can't see me til Jan. I seen my gp 3 days after last test was taken, he said he dont see any signs of pregnacy. He checked my cervix n uterus n said no. He took a pt n it came bk negative.  He said not pregnant n that my bleeding looks like a normal period. He recommended I keep my appt with my gyn to see if it changes bc it could still be too early to detect. I was taking b12 shots but haven't taken one since oct. Since my last apt from the gp my cycle is over n I took another test today, it came bk negative too. What is going on and why? How could I go from 2 positives to 2 negatives....confused.  any ideas?!

With positive pregnacy test, more than 1, then bleeding then negitive test I hate to say yes that what it is, they can examine you all they want but they can't just feel you that early and tell if you are/were pregnant. Blood test is the only way but if your levels were low enough to get a neg then more than likely all the hcg is out of your system now :(

Eventhough he said there's no sign of miscarriage or abortion when he was examining me. Remind u too that we haven't done any blood work yet...do u still think that that's what my case is?!

Sounds like a very early miscarage known as a chemical pregnacy, I have had this happen to me before. I had tested day of my period and went to doctor same day and had them check my hcg levels which were very low,I had 2 m/c before that . few days later I started bleeding just like a period very little cramping and went back to doc a few days later and my hcg levels had went back down, they said I was pregnant but m/c and with it bring so early it was just like a period. So sorry to hear this happened to u. Early m/c are very common and some people just don't realize they were even pregnant to start with
