Talk to your landlord, there is probably a clause in your lease that would let you out of the obligation to live there if it is not habitable due to pot smoke.
We own the house. :( #notfair they have had there house up for sale for the last 14 months we are keeping our fingers crossed. If I wasn't pregnant we would be moving house x
Do you live somewhere that smoking pot is illegal? If so, you could call the police when they are smoking. Or, just speak to a lawyer and have the lawyer write a cease-and-desist letter to the neighbor.
Frankly, I would worry that someone's smoke comes into my house so readily. What is wrong with your ventilation systems that this happens? Even when there is a common wall, you should not be able to smell anything from their house. This might be one for a home inspector and a carpenter -- they aren't going to be able to sell a house that has been improperly vented into the neighbor's bathroom, and frankly you might also not be able to sell until this is fixed, depending on disclosure laws in your area.
Hi hun. Thanks for the response. They smoke it in there bathroom which is next to ours. The house is a mid terrace house which is over 100years old so the thickness off the walls aren't as think as new builds.
There house want raided over 21 months ago. I am thinking of ringing the council again Tomorrow to see what they say?? :)
Xx
I would call the cops and tell them. They should have respect for others, but potheads usually don't. I'm sorry you are having to go through this.
I wish we had the money to move or someone would buy there house. :( I went through 2 miscarriages around the time they were having parties all weekend and doing drugs. So I really don't want them to kick in again. :( xx
That is terrible, I'm sorry you have to put up with that. Report it, then talk to your doctor about it. Maybe they can write something about your risk to miscarry as weight against the smoking to police.
Honestly if it's only marijuana smoke, it has no affect on the fetus. My mother legally is able to smoke for medical purposes and I have made sure the smoke will not affect my baby. Don't be so drastic as for calling the cops, that can really ruin sonei

Don't be so drastic as for calling the cops, that can really ruin someone's life over something so simple. Try speaking to them politely being rude to them would not be the answer just simply say that you don't agree, but your opinion can't affect there decision to do so or not, and that you would just appreciate them doing it an area not affecting your home
I would love to be able to talk to them about it but all they think about is themselves.
She drives under the influence of the drug and she and her boyfriend also do it when she has her child who us 9.
She is not very nice :( x
