After the baby is born I heard that they make your partner pay child support? Is this true? Even if you're together and under the same roof? I dont want my fiance to have to pay child support so I've been trying to do some research because if I need to I'll just look for other insurance.
That's not true at all they only make you go after child support if you get cash assistance
I think if you claim that you live with the father and he is half or more support of the child that he won't have to! I'm not 100% positive though.
My mom told me that be for I leave the hospital they will want to know who the father is and who I am living with and if we're not married yet then he'll have to pay child support. I dont know if its true or not I haven't talked to anyone else about it.
I sure the hell hope that that isn't true.. I just applied for it and I live with mine also. I'll be pissed..
