Seriously @steph2789 your an idiot, learn to read before insulting someone whos CURIOUS. no where did she say she was doing it. And if she does, then thats her decision
I dont think bashing her as a person for asking a simple question is the right thing to do ! She was just asking she didnt once state she was going to do it smh
She never said she was getting one she just wondering why it is bad to get it while pregnant... stupid
Well as long as its not anywhere near your stomach I think your in the clear.. I had a big tattoo on my ankle done as well as stars that go from my neck down my back all in the same night one after the other... But I also know my body and I only go to one person to do all of my tattoos.. and its at a shop most deff. But everyone is different.
Wow. Selfish girl. Wait until after your child comes then get one
Dont forget that endorphine/adrenaline rush can cause premature labor
The ink doesn't set right in your skin and can end up looking really ugly plus infection.
You can set up many infections and the risk of ink in your bloodstream that gets to the baby could be deadly for the baby! I've gotten plenty of tattoos but I'd never risk getting one while pregnant. If a tattoo artist will not tattoo you then you know you shouldn't do it because they don't care about you they care about the money but they know it's a big risk to their career to even touch a pregnant women
From the articles I read they say you risk getting infections, risk the tattoo not healing right and what you do to yourself will affect the baby whether its good or bad. They say its not safe. I love tattoos and before I was pg I had to sign off saying I wasnt pg. A lot of artists just wont do it because its not safe and they dont want to be a liability. I want another tat but my baby's safty is more important and Im willing to wait. :)
Technically the only risk is possible infection and reaction to healing and ink.because of the pregnancy or skin is more delicate and ink may not settle or heal correctly .there is no proof that ink will harm the baby but better safe than sorry.what's a few months?
Obviously dont do it close to ur tummy.. im not a doctor or a tattoo artist but i think its just risk of infection or possibly reaction to the ink. Might be best to wait til after u have the baby. And how far along u r could make a difference. I got a peircing while pregnant but i just watched for infection and now its all healed and all is well.
