I'm in the hospital just being induced they gave me the pill to put on my cervix to soften it I'm starting to feel contractions kinda does anyone know why they don't allow you to eat anything while getting induced besides liquids? and what happens if you would I am STARVING! lol

:) thats always nice too if u have awesome night nurses, they may sneak you something. Sometimes if u ask ariedale, they may let u have a snack. Good luck ladies

What kind of medicine have they been using so far with you? That's a long time I hope I go fast I never knew induction could be so long!

I havent ate in 24 hours, i have been 4 cm for a whole week so far. The night shift nurses are letting me eat though i am starving too! Like crazy.

Hi, I was induced with my 2nd baby. The reason they do not let you eat is because there is a possibility for c section with any induction and you shouldnt have food in ur stomach during surgery. Hopefully u wont have one but its just a safety precaution just in case. I know how u feel. My induction took 3 DAYS, and I was STARVING too. Good luck hun, itll be worth it. :)
