been freaking myself out all night

My appointment is in an hr and I'm wondering if my Dr will use the doppler? 2nd appointment and I'm just scared there won't be a heartbeat :/

Lol Kate yeah the nurse checked it and have me a look like "Wtf is wrong with you" haha her face was priceless. Your boy sounds like a little trouble maker lol I wonder why he hates it so much

Wen they tryed to hear the heart beat at frist with mine i was 18 weeks they couldn't find it so they gave me an ultrasound and there she was with her little heart a beating :)

My boy threw me for a loop the other day at the doctors. He normally finds the heartbeat around my belly button but baby has dropped really far down so he had to search, and every time the monitor got close baby boy would kick it and move to the other side! He HATES the doppler and the monitors for the stress test. Try not to think on it too much because you'll make your blood pressure all wack and if they check that beforehand you don't want them to get worried about that.

No you should be fine, I'm bigger they never have a problem with it

Thank you. I heard the heart best at 6w via ultrasound, I'm just terrified baby won't be there or something worse ugh. And I'm a big girl, over weight pre preg will that effect my Dr being able to find it?

Dont be scared i was soooo nervous when i first got to hear the heartbeat it took 20 minutes because my midwife couldnt find baby i panicked and started thinking the worst (at 13 week 4 days) thats when she did mine, but after the long wait there he or she was! 142 beats per min and on my right side moving around being an awkward baby! Hehe good luck hun xx

The can't hear a heart beat with a Doppler until ur either 12 or 13 weeks I can't remember which. How far are u
