Can someone please explain to me the way a contraction physically feels? Is it like a big cramp, or a shooting pain? I've been thinking about my birth plan and now I'm just wondering about everything. Thinking about it is making my head spin!

Mine felt like cramps. Best way to del with them is to not fight them, allow the pain and pressure to hit you like a wave and then wash away. Focus on breathing through them and know there will be relief for a short tie before another one hits and then ultimate relief once you deliver your baby :)

To me it felt like period pains just more intense ....and got more intense as labor went on but all women are different some have back labor some have front and some easily just pop kids out ....lol I hope this kinda helps :/
