You dnt have to drink it,, my doctor prescribed me vitamin D pills. She gave me 4 pills and i took one a week.
Is it the thickness to it, you don't like? Or just the overall flavor?
You can try the other percents (whole, 2%, half, e.t.c.). If you overall just don't like it, there's: Almond, coconut, soy, and lactose free milks.
There's supplements, that you can take with your other pills.
You can try eating or drinking other things, to get the same calcium levels. I had an orange juice, recently, that had the same amount of calcium as whole milk. (I was curious, so I read the labels hehe)
If you have a gallon and don't want to waste it, try adding a flavoring to it. (There's caramel, chocolate, strawberry, and other flavors).
I wouldn't drink it, if you gag, it's not worth getting sick and wasting the time drinking it lol. There's other ways to get the calcium, you need (:
Good luck!
Gotcha yea I would try Almond milk which has more calcium then milk and gives you protein. Or just try a supplement. My dietician told me there wasn't enough calcium in my prenatal vitamins. But I ddon't drink any milk regularly. You should be getting additional calcium every day.
No you don't have to, I've stayed away from it for most of my pregnancy cause it's gross and makes me sick lol you get plenty of calcium from your prenatals. Don't force yourself if it's making you gag. It's not worth the puking trust me. If you were lacking in calcium dr would say something don't worry.
Drink almond milk i love it its so much healthier too. They have flavors i love the vanilla one!
Well this is my first child, my mother told me I had to for the baby
Can I ask why you started drinking milk? I'm not a fan so to get my calcium I take a supplement in addition to my prenatal vitamins.
