14 week scan

I went and had a scan on thyroud and ultrasound tech peeked at my baby just for fun since I told her I didnt know the sex. It seemed clear as day that we both saw a sack and a "pointer" as she called it. LOL!! How likely is it that she's right since it was done before 16 weeks?

Well that was 2010. My little girl is 2 now. I'm only 5 wks with this baby. when they told me at my 20 wk scan it was a girl I was shocked because they said 80 percent chance it was a boy. And I saw it for myself and it very much looked like a little penis at the 3d.

Wow! How far are u now and, how confident was the tech who did ur ultrasound? I went to an imaging center because my Doc thought I had a problem with my thyroid so thats what I went for but, we decided to peek. I thought it was possible to tell as early as 13 weeks.

I got a 3d scan at 15 wks and it looked like a penis and balls but it turned out her genitals were not formed yet and she was a girl.

I would think its pretty accurate, I think they're normally off when they say girl if you're early. But if you can see a sack and a thumbs up, lol, I would say you're most likely having a boy. :)
