I'm 17+1 and i just felt my baby yesterday for the first time. I was in class and then i felt like popcorn popping in my tummy. It made me so happy that i started chuckling in class. :)

Baby is still pretty small. Give it another couple weeks and you'll start feeling baby kick :)

Everyone is different. And you're still early. Especially like others pointed out you're a first time mom. Wait until 20 weeks AT THE EARLIEST to decide if you've felt anything or not. If still nothing let the doctor know. I'm sure if anything were wrong they might have seen it by now.

I am also 17 weeks along. I have been told that I should feel the baby's movements by 20 weeks. But I've read some women feel them earlier. I sometimes feel a pulsating feeling down there not sure if that's the baby moving. Just waiting for it to become more prominent so I can clearly distinguish the movements. They say when you feel it, its unlike anything else you have experienced again. I hope that happens very soon.
