spotti ng and no heat beast detected at 5w 6d should i worry

So I have been spotting for about five days now..not filling a pad in a day. And no cramping  and had my first ultrasound last Thursday and baby was at 4weeks. ..then two days ago I went back and baby measured at 5w 6d.  The Dr said they couldn't hear a heart beat and were suggesting a d  and c yesterday.based on no hb. .. I refused.  I feel it a not right.all my blood work came back normal and hcg level at 7000...I am going to a new Dr Monday for a second opinion she is doing another ultrasound .. .. should I heart a heart beat  by then?  Am I crazy?

i must say i am a lil surprised at the rash decision the doctors made about you getting a D n C most doctors would give you a week or two and have you come back and check again, maybe i would find a doctor who may be more of help to you :) i wish you the best of luck wishing you a happy healthy nine months <3

Don't do it!!! My hcg levels were higher than that and at five weeks and all they seen was a sac, no fetal pole or nothing. I'm fifteen weeks now and I didn't see my babies heartbeat till nine weeks!!

It's too early. The wife had spotting right around the time u are now and no heartbeat. Spotting is in most cases normal. Waited two weeks and went back only to find the heartbeat. Patience is a virtue.

there could be different reasons why u cant hear the heart beat, may still be early , position of ur uterus or the baby's position within the uterus every woman's pregnancy is different some can hear it earlier then others and some it may take a lil longer
