18 weeks...no baby bump

I just wondered whether or not it is normal that I am 18 weeks pregnant and not showing at all. I actually lost 6 pounds during my first trimester and I wasn't sick once. I am worried that since I'm not gaining any weight that the baby isn't either; however, I feel like I am consuming enough calories daily. I do workout on a regular basis, but my doctor told me that it was okay (even healthy) to keep it up. This is my first pregnancy, so I tend to worry about everything and I don't have another doctor's appointment for two more weeks.  Anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks for all of your replies! I feel much better hearing that I'm not the only one who does't look pregnant at this point!

I am 24 weeks and my belly is barely getting bigger. At 18 weeks I wasn't showing at all. It's so frustrating, but you will get there.

I really did not begin to show until I was 20 weeks. I wasnt loosing weight though... I would really think that if your doctor said it was ok and he didnt tell you to not work out then I would think all is okay. If it is really bothering you, you can call your doctors office and ask a nurse.... Best of luck.

I didn't show for a LONG time and was really kind of frustrated about it.  Many people I work with have really commented about it saying I didn't look pregnant for so long but then all of a sudden I just 'popped' as they say.  I was literally 5 months or so before you could really tell.  I'm now 35 weeks and I'm all belly.  I haven't really gained weight anywhere else - I'm all out front.  I started an average size - 126 was my first weigh in at 6 weeks and I'm about 5'3" - I would have expected to show much sooner b/c of my size -but - nope.

When I was 18 weeks I wondered when I was going to start to show and if I ever was going to show. I had dreams that I was 9 months and still not showing. I knew people who were only 15 weeks and they looked like they were 7-8 months pregnant already.
I was about 20-21 weeks when I started showing it's like my baby bump happened over night LOL I was like "where'd that come from?".
Everybody carries differently and shows at different times. It will happen sometime. Now I can't really hind it anymore. I'm still growing slowly though.

Are you tiny?

My mum only put on 14lbs with me.

Also, a friend at work who isn't tiny but not obese either was really late to show and she was worried, now she gets bigger every second LOL
