Nesting and labor?

So I had my baby shower this past Saturday and now that it's done and over with I have the overwhelming urge to get everything ready.! I've rearranged my room, put together the crib and changing table, put all his new clothes away, and now even though I still need a diaper bag I just feel extremely anxious to get a bag packed of his stuff that I'll be taking to the hospital. Is it true that when you are nesting this way baby will be coming soon.? I'm currently 34+5 so idk what to think about this. With my firstborn I nested the week before I had him. Any ideas.?

My doctor is going by my lmp and at my anatomy scan he was basically matched to that just about 4 days ahead so my doctor kept my due date the same. This anxiety and restlessness is driving me crazy.!!!

Lol no it's a myth. I've been nesting since maybe 32/33w and there is NO sign of her coming. Im 38+5 now and still go crazy with nesting. It's just something we go through, all the anxiety and restlessness is normal. Doesn't mean you're further along, are they going by ultrasound date or your lmp?

I'm kind of starting to wonder if maybe I'm further along than what the doctor said.? Because on top of all the nesting I just feel so anxious. Like right now I'm exhausted and would love to sleep but I'm just pacing around the house I feel like I can't relax.

I did the exact same thing with my two pregnancies. I've heard it's like a maternal instinct kicking in. Maybe not within the next week but definitely a sign to have everything prepared because we aren't aware of the exact time. Hopefully it won't be too long now. Best wishes ;)
