If you are having bad constipation, which it sounds like then tell your doctor. Constipation is normal, and they can prescribe you pills to help. I am on some myself, because I was having the same trouble.
If you don't have a dr. appointment coming up then I would make one so you can talk to them about this.
I it the sharp pain as well then I sneezes but the sharp pain is in my "v v" area. Its all normal.
I was and still am constipated and try not to strain when I go to bathroom...it's hard not to. But I know it needs to come out! LOL. The baby will not come out, I assure you. But definitely becareful and don't strain too hard. You may need more fiber in your diet and that may help ease things and also make sure you are drinking plenty of water. As for the sneezing...very common to get sharp pains. I always got them very low in my abdomen and as well as my vaginal area. There is a lot of stretching going on right now to make room for that baby! There were times I would feel pressure on my bottom...very annoying. I think you are okay, but if you are really concerned you can always call your doc! =)
Oh good, I was getting worried because I have never experienced that...and youknow you hear things like "oh don't strain too hard it's not good the baby will come out..." and I dunno it's like I just had to ask. But thanks everyone!!!
i also had he occasional sharp pain, dr said bub pushed on some nerves etc
The baby wont come out. BUT if you do strain too hard you could get Hemmroids. An those arent pleasant. Good luck!
Beautifullychaotic is correct- The baby won't come out if you strain too hard. I'm having a problem w/constipation too, and it sux.
But you could try a stool softner.
I'm having the opposite bowel problem....diarrhea...complete with cramping...
As for the pains...I get pains usually in my lower left abdominal area on the inside after sneezing or coughing really hard. They sometimes linger for awhile.
ohhh i'm having the constipation issues. my doc gave me a prescrip for a stool softner and i also take a fiber supplement to.....help things move along. and the sneezing i don't get sharp pains in the anal area...mine are in my lower abdomen.
You cannot push the baby out. Your cervix is closed VERY tightly. However, straining could cause you to have a hemorroid (when part of the intestines comes out).
So def. don't strain! Eat loves of prunes, fiber-filled cereals, and juices (Treetop Apple Juice or try a prune juice). Dairy/cheese and carbs and iron can "stop you up".
The pain you feel after sneezing is ANNOYING and uncomfortable, but totally normal.
i had something sort of the same. every time i would sneeze i had sharp pains between my legs and then i would actually pee a few drops(TMI) my doc said it was because drinking my fluids to fast which would cause my bladder to contract when i coughed or sneezed.
