2 neg test and no period

Hi,
My last period was 6th August and I still havent had one. I am normally 25-26 days so therefore that would make me like almost 2 weeks late. I am always regular and my last perdiod was only 4 days and it was really late. I have done 2 home preg test and both neg. I'm confused as i dont know what to expect. I have been fasting, do you think this would delay my period.

Fasting can definitely mess up AF. There are many reasons for being late. For example, not ovulating that month, ovulating late that month would cause AF to show up late, really late ovulation with conception which would mean late implantation so not enough hcg in your system yet, stress, change in diet or exercise, drastic weight change....There are many different reasons. In rare cases hcg isnt expelled through urine even though its a healthy pregnancy. I would call your doctor and see if they can get you in if you dont get AF if a few more days. A quantitative blood test and tell you what your hcg level is so you will know for sure one way or other. I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about. It is more than likeyly due to fasting. GL!

Lots of reasons why you could be late or miss a period.  If you fasted around the time of ovulation that would effect your period.  HPTs are typically accurate about 2 weeks after conception.

Hi there
I would think you're probably not pregnant due to negative tests - yes fasting can certainly mess with your cycle. It might be worth visiting your doctor about it. Best of luck!
