Okay I'll answer.......
1). Kutless
2). Red
Both are Christian Rock.
Sublime, and any top 40/ hip-hop artist. I love top 40/hip-hop and they put on a fantastic show usually...
This is a tough one for me...I like music but I am not a big music person...I listen to it when I drive and that is about it. BUT I just bought my mom concert tickets to see Neil Diamond and when I ordered, I checked the box for 'best available' Almost $300 later, I had two tickets for her to go next weekend for her birthday! I couldn't believe how expensive they were! That is the most I've ever spent on an event/concert and it is the last time I will probably shell out that kind of money again lol! My mom deserves it though! I love her =)
If it was for Chris Brown or Usher (my 2 fav. hip hop artist) then mostly definetly i love them!!! Any other one hmmm probably for Intocable (they are my fav. latino band) yes cus i love all their songs and i know the tickets are at least that price!!
if i was doing the type of work i was doing back in 1996 i wouldve paid 1500 to see micheal jackson's concert in bucharest. Ummm, thats about it:)
1) the used
2) def leppard (gotta go old school!)
I'm with sweetangel7. Not much on music as far as paying money to go see someone. I did spend about that much a few years ago to see Phil Collins; maybe more. That was for my husband's birthday. He loves Phil Collins. I like a lot of his music too.
gokuangel
I love INTOCABLE. I have like 3 or 4 of their CDs. They are my favorite Latin band too. But I also love Mana. If you haven't heard them, check them out. I love them too!!!!!
metallica or korn
george straight or reba mcentire
sarah mcglachlin(sp?) or evanessence
ludacris or snoop
charlie daniels or lynard skynard
def leopard or ozzy osborne
obviously my music has a really broad spectrum hehe
Well, $60 is not that much to see a band BUT
I'd pay enough money to see Soundgarden (they broke up :() and Pearl Jam
OR oldies, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd
Dave Matthews or Rascal Flatts
(I had 5th row tickets to Rascal flatts this past year but had my miscarriage that morning and was in now mood to attend the concert, which I paid $200+ for)
i would love to see bad company or brian adams or maybe tom petty& the heartbreakers........since i was a lil kid i have listened to all the music my dad listend to and i still do i even own a smokie& the bandit edition trans-am which is my dad's fav. car, and he owns 3 older model trans-ams....i guess i could say i am and always will be daddy's lil girl!!!!
thats a tough one i love music esp my ipod i never go anywhere with out it lol .
id pay to see def leppard my fav band ever .journey..tom petty...tracy champman...three days grace ...buck cherry..jewel...katy perry..paula cole...leona lewis...breaking benjamin...evans blue ...fergie..those are just a few lol
i see a trend here! many of us love def leppard! they are great live btw. ive seen them about 4 different times. totally worth 100$ a ticket.
I did pay more than $60 last year to see Rascal Flatts, and I would do it again. My other choice would be....not really sure about that!
I would like to see Atreyu and Korn. Both different styles of music, but me and DH would be in heaven!!
that is tough. i love music, old and new.
i would love to see the Dave matthews band since i have not seen them yet. I think i would also love to see Jack Johnson. But seeing Foreigner is also big on my list.
I have seen so many other bands like Linkin Park, Limp Bizket, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, The WU Tang Clan, Eminem and lots of others,
But my favorite concerts were my old shcool ones, Pat Benatar and Prince. I have a total unhealthy obession with Prince.
Wow Joy, this is a tough question.
leighanne, back in the day I saw Drowning Pool, Staind (they used to be my fave), Disturbed, Slipknot, etc. I don't listen to that stuff anymore but it was QUITE a show!!! LOL!
OOh tuffy I would wanna see
1) Papa Roach
2) Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
joy- yeah the disturb & drowning pool concert was quite i show. i got caught in a bad mosh put and could barely hold my arms above my head the next day due to defending myself but the show was great.
i don't listen to the hard stuff much more. I am more into the softer jack johnson and like norah jones. that is what i listen tp while at work.
Oh but i also still want to see Tool too because i think their music is unbelievable.
liberty7- i love the face down song by the red jumpsuits.:)
SO hard to pick just two!
Out of present-day musicians:
1) Jack Johnson (I also wouldn't mind doing naughty things to him...and I'll pay him more than $60 for that! hee hee :-)
2) Gwen Stefani
(Amos Lee would be on this list, but I already saw him once)
Out of yesterday's musicians:
1) The Beatles
2) Pink Floyd or Led Zep...it would be a tie.
(Styx would be high on this list, too)
You didn't specify whether or not they still had to be alive! LOL And believe me, if i could see The Beatles for $60, I'd go five times in a row! :-)
hope2oneday- isn't jack johnson great. his music is so relaxing,.
Yes...and I remember back in the day before he got to be so popular when the Curious George movie came out. I'll never forget being a Jazzercise class and we suddenly started doing a new routine...to a Jack Johnson song! It was "Upside Down" from the movie soundtrack. I was so excited! LOL We later ended up doing a routine to "Good People" from the In Between Dreams cd, too.
The ringtone for my husband is the song "Broken" (although we also love the song Banana Pancakes)
It's so nice to know there is someone on here who likes Jack Johnson! Seriously, he is the one person I NEVER get tired of listening to! You should check out to Amos Lee, too. A few of my favorite songs are "Arms of a Woman", "Colors", "Careless" , and "Sympathize". And you may have even heard the song "Sweet Pea" on an AT & T wireless commercial. I almost peed myself the first time I heard it come on...b/c he ain't exactly popular! :-)
Oh well, I could go on about music...but I have to get to bed soon!
Ill make myself sound old, but: Elton John and Brad Paisley : )
