3 days late?!?! And the stupid test is still BFN

What test would show a BFP as of now?

I tested with FMU this morning using an EPT brand.... BFN. but I'm 3 days late. Truly late.

NO signs of AF coming and I'm beginning to freak out a bit. DH knows I'm late, but I tested this morning and got BFN. When I was preggo with TJ I got a BFP 2 days after I missed AF.

AND I've NEVER, EVER been late due to stress. even tho I've had plenty of that going on... I also got a cold/cough thing going on that just came up yesterday. When I was preggo with TJ I got sick so quickly and had constant colds for the first couple months.

I have 1 ept left in the box and i'm waiting 2 more days to see what it shows. but If I am preggo I need to know because one of the meds I'm on lowers folic acid in the body. It's Soma.....so i CANT Take it if preggo.

Pinkbelle~ Thanks for the suggestion but absolutely not. I don't think my insurance would approve it.  I'm now 4 days late and still no AF.

Also... if I was a small woman I'd be  ok with 10 lbs, but I'm not. I weigh 175lbs at 5'8. Last time I gained weight on BC DH wasn't very interested in me. I know it's vain of him, but it happened. I AM TRYING OTHER METHODS, I'm in the process of getting a cervical cap, but I've got to wait for everything to go thru. it wouldn't matter if I were preggo tho wouldn't it?

Good luck! I would say that if you get a BFN still in a day or so then I would call the doctor! Hmmm this is a toughie! Best wishes and no baby dust!

then how about getting your tubes clamped.. that is reversable and it does not affect your fertility... I asked my ob about it...  it can be taken off ..

there are other options out there for women who can't handle the hormones... I am currently on ortho lo and yea i gained 10lbs but i know that at this point in time I am not ready for another baby so I will gladly gain that extra 10lbs...

I just don't want you to think that you just have to use the "wait and see method" ... You could try to google alternative birth controls also.. just trying to be helpful. = ]

pinkbelle~ I AM using a form... not hormonal, the foam, and abstinance during my peak fertile days.

The only main reasons I'm against hormonal BC is because my migraines get 10x worse, I also gain alot of weight. and who needs that when they're trying to lose their babyweight?

(50 lbs on Depo and 15 on Nuvaring) OBGYN said that if I gain weight on nuvaring that I'll gain it with ANY hormonal method.

it's 10:00pm my time and still no sign. I'll update everyone in a couple of days when I find out what is going on.

your cycles change after your pregnant... if you are that worried go get a blood test but i honestly think the urine would def. show up now... if you don't want to be pregnant you should consider some type of birth control ( or maybe you are using something)  .. that way you wount have to worry about af being late or have to worry about it...  I finally got on birth control ( i had my daughter 5 months ago) and its so much more relaxing not to ahve to worry every month if i am pregnant

It is probably just some weird post partum thing...try to relax...I'd think any of the pregnancy tests on the market, especially those for early detection like the FRER would be accurate by now...but test in a couple days and if not call your doc...

I was three days late with my first pregnancy before an early first response test would show a very faint positive so it is possible you are pregnant. Those tests you are supposed to be able to take five days before AF is due (and believe me I was testing away) and they all showed negative until that last one. I of course immediately told my husband and we went and bought some more and I took those every other day afterwards just to see the line a little darker =-)

Take a FRER since those have been proven to be the most accurate.
