my husband is not in the military but he's a police officer that has worked 3rd shift for the past 5 yrs. ( 9pm-5am) i've always been scared of the dark and never liked to stay alone. i had no choice but to suck it up! i would sleep in the lvrm with lamp and tv on, phone under my pillow. sometimes me and the kids would pack up and sleep at my parents house.. i know, sounds pathetic, butatleast i wasnt scared snd i got some sleep. nowthat im pegnant with #4 im over my fears and i sleep with the house pitch black.. it could be cause i have a gun of my own now for protection.. just hope ill never have to use it!

Lol even when he's away i find myself on the edge cause I'm so used to him taking up the whole bed. I usually just put every pillow on the bed when he's gone to help me sleep anyways. I just have to make sure i don't fall off lol

I also have a hard time sleeping without my husband here, he had staff duty on new years day which sucked big time but luckly a lot of soldiers are still on block leave so hes been getting off at 1or2 for the last few wks. I have a 6yr old so she keeps me pretty entertained til bedtime, then i just watch tv until i fall asleep this baby makes me so tired so its not that hard anymore. We just fight over bed space when he is home anyway lol i think we need a king now the queen is getting tight lol.

My husband was deployed the three months of my pregnancy. It sucked since I was alone at home. I kept busy really. Work n school. Only came home to sleep. You just have to remember that duty is temporary hell be back. I know when my husband was overseas he tried to email me as much as possible to help keep me sane. Haha :-) you'll be fine.

Shoot I'm not sure how I would have done it without him. I mean my family is 1-4 hr away from me. But they drive me crazy. I love them but this pregnancy has made me a little more irritable around them lol. My husbands unit is deployable :( he's with a med Battalion. He works for the navy. It's funny when I go to his work cause it's like him an 9 other marines in their camis in this pool of blue lol

They let mine leave ntc early because it was close to my due date. For a field manuver they would let him go I promise. 3 deploymebts under our belt. Leavung his family is harder ob them then us. We get to see our babies and they don't. Being an army wife is a proud job. Hard but worth it. Any questions in box me I'm frg leader here for our company. 10 years now!!   HOOAH ladies!

Lol miine has gone to all mine too. I'm so happy that he isn't deployed during my pregnancy. Idk how some ladies do it without their hubby there.I'm so attached to mine. Just hope and pray he doesn't deploy any time soon. I'm so glad his company isn't a deployable one:))  We been really lucky.

Yeah they do. He's been to all my appointments with me. But he usually has to work longer when they let him go. Before it was the same situation where he was my ride but now I have my car so he meets me there. Great thing about living on base I'm only literally 5 minutes away from the hospital an his unit is only ten

My hubby goes to all my doctor appointments after he raised hell when he missed the first one lol.
I'm dreading the day he deploys too /: but at least when they do deploy, we'll have our babies to take care of(:

Oh wow that *****. I hope they do take him of the field when you go into labor. I think they would. My hubby would be allowed but he is my only ride lol do they let him go to all your doc appointments?

well think about it. If you go into labor and they're deployed, they usually do their best to get them home asap. So I'm sure in the field it won't be any different. Then again, I'm only speaking from a Navy and Army background lol. Idk about the Marines. They might be stricter in these aspects.
