when I was with my babys father we were talking about naming the baby after him but I wanted to put a twist on it and put my dads middle name in there also.. so it would have been Corey Aaron James Long.. instead of Corey James Long..
Yea my sons middle name is his daddy's first name. His name is Kayden but we call him chief which is no where near his name but it stuck. You can always just give him a random nickname like I gave my son.
When I had my first I was 16 and being selfish I didn't name my son after his dad because I thought his name was so common and I wanted something different but 6 years later when we had our second I named him after his dad (same person) because I seen how much it meant to him to have his son named after him.
We named our son after his daddy. His dad is also named after his dad. But only first names. My husband parents call him buddy. We call our son roo because when he was a few days old he would hold his arms up to his chest like a kangaroo! You will figure out a nickname after you meet him!
with my first child the dad and I decided on Mark Austin if it was a boy which was after him since he's Robert Magna but it was a girl! plus he bailed 17 weeks in and came back after I had named her what I decided on because I hated his Oceana Skye he wanted.
this my second child by somebody else who actually here and we aren't finding out gender to birth but he is a fourth and if it's a boy ours will be a fifth but loving called LJ instead of Louis John the fifth.
Lol, honestly that's what I was going to say. ^ :) And no, I'm not. I don't like the idea of having two of the same names in the house. It would get pretty confusing. But that's my opinion, and I'm also asuming that's why you don't want to use his first name, lol. I would try his middle name? Maybe even bubs or something? My mom always called me sis. It kind of bothered me, but of well.
I'm in the same situation. Not really a fan of my boyfriends name. But we're naming our son after him. Simeon Anthony. I don't like the name anthony so there goes calling him by his middle name. So we're all calling him SJ. But since I don't think ** would work for you.. Just don't worry about it. You'll find a nickname for him soon.
Middle name? I wouldnt really want to call him **.....but thats just me being immature. :)
