37 weeks with EXTREME Cramping!

Hey I was just wondering could cramping be a sign that labor is near?? I'm 37 weeks today and I woke up with major cramps and everytime I get up to walk it hurts I immediatly start to cramp and my legs feel like they are fixing to pop out of place! I was just curious if anyone else is having this problem or has had this problem and if it means Labor soon!

You should definitely see your doctor.. No question is a stupid question when it comes to you & your babies health. Doctors get crazy questions all the time, but theyre glad that u ask at all, it makes their job interesting. You could be getting these cramps & pains bc b4 labor ur insides start to move around & prepare to deliver. I think I lost my mucous plug about 2 wks b4 labor.

Good luck! Sounds like you're getting closer! I was the same way I went in once and they turned me away so after that even tho I was in pain I wasn't going back until it was time. All I can say is you'll know when it's time. The whole time I was thinking I've got to in labor I can't be in this much pain if it's not was NOTHING compared to when I was in labor. ;) good luck. Good luck.

Well today I still hurt but not as bad, but now I think I just had my bloody show, I went to the RR and when I wiped there was brownish mucus, I have been losing my plug for awhile now but it has always been a clearish white color and now its a brownish color. So hopefully this means I will be having my baby soon!

I don't really want to go to the hospital Cuz I was just there last week because I thought my water had broke but it turned out to be a false alarm so I don't wanna go back and have them thinking I'm just impatient or something I have a doc appt wednesday so hoepfully my doctor can tell me something then.

It sounds as if your hips "have gone" thats how I describe my hips, when I roll over they clunck and feel like they're about to fall apart, but I would suggest going and getting checked out to rule out anything else, hopefully you will just need a support belt, but get checked just to make sure its nothing else

I'm no longer cramping but I have the pain when I walk or barely even move my legs or butt. I tried taking a nap earlier and I couldn't even roll over without being alot of pain

I have tried taking a warm bath, and taking a warm shower and nothing is working, and its not a waddle walk I'm walking like im literally bowlegged or something... the only time it doesn't hurt is when I'm sitting down but even the slightest movement hurts

I just wish the pain would stop already, this is my second child and i never experienced this with my first one because I was induced 2 days before my due date. I am even walking weird cuz I have alot of pelvic pain, my legs and feet are turning in towards each other. I walked like this last year when I ended up hurting my lower back and had to go to the chiropractor but now instead of the pain being in my lower back its in the front. :/

it certainly sounds to me like things are starting to happen, although being able to pinpoint when actual labour will start isnt possible, take this as a good sign :)
