3D ultrasound question

I am having an elective 3D ultrasound in 9 days at a clinic I'm paying for it to be done. Has anyone had good experiences with this as far as getting good facial pictures? Are there any suggestions as to how I can get my lil guy to show his face and be cooperative? I will be 34 weeks when the ultrasound is done and I had a few people tell me I won't be able to see anything as far as his facial profile because he will be too squished inside my uterus. I have limited funds so I am wondering should I still get it done or just cancel?  Thanks in advance for any answers

And eat something before the ultrasound bit not alot  because if you dont you will have alot of gases obstructing babys face

Well I will keep my appt. And just eat less the night before and drink OJ before I get in the appt and hope he is ready for some pictures lol

I also had mine done at 32 weeks. I got great facial pictures. But it also depends on the mother. If your a lil chubby pictures turn out different than for someone who is tiny

It makes you even more impatient when you see you beautiful baby atleast thats what happened to me I fell in love with her and now im going crazy and cant wait to meet her 6 more weeks left

I know orange juice is filled with sugar and is suppose to get baby moving around.

I have not personally had one done, but a few friends have, and we're that far along. You could clearly see the face in their pictures. The ultrasound tech will do their best to find babies face, and will most likely allow you back (free of charge) if they can't find the face. (At least here it is that way)

I had mine done at 32 weeks and I got beautiful pictures of my baby girl, and I did go twice I went the first time at 30 weeks and couldnt see her face good but at 32 weeks it was a perfect picture, I was told to not eat carbohydrates the day of the ultrasound and the day before, to not eat to much and to drink orange juice. And honestly we had no issues seeing her
