4 days LATE and still a negative hpt

Here's the thing.  The contraceptive free night two days after the last day of my period (which was around February 16th) wasn't a concern either because I was under the impression that I wasn't ovulating then. Well, I looked it up later on the internet and found out apparently it is entirely possible to conceive right after a period. In the beginning of this, this wasn't something I was going to stress myself out about. But then March 9th came and went. I'm now four days late, and I don't know what to do.  Usually my breasts swell a little bit before I start my period, but they have completely MUTATED into these giant orbs and my nipples are causing me complete agony. Not to be gross or anything, but it's like I have permanently hard nipples. (which is not the case normally) So here are the symptoms: swollen breasts and VERY tender nipples, headaches, occasional cramps that feel like menstrual cramps, feeling a little nauseous but mostly at night, feeling very hormonal, and frequent urination. Anyway, I've taken numerous hpt's and they all come back negative. I don't know what to do and my period is nowhere in sight. Is it possible that I could be pregnant, but the tests are wrong?

Im also 4 days late with neg test, 2 weeks ago the drs tested me as I seem to be lactating, im also on the mini pill my last period was on the 11th feb i bled for 8 days stopped for 2 then bled for another 8 days which i think was because i was 1hr late takin my pill i dont feel like im due to come on the longest cycle i had was 46 days and that was a nightmare, so I will also go and see my dr  and find out whats happening .
I havent got a clue when i ovulate all i know is that at the moment I have some discharge, which I dont normally get. Any advice would be great.

Thank you so much. That does make sense. I guess I'll have to wait through the weekend and see. If I don't start by the middle of next week, I think I'm going to go to the free clinic for some blood tests.

It could be that you ovulated late, thus your period would be late. Give yourself 3 days and re-test if AF still doesn't show.
