My experience was very fast they say you have a longer labor being induced for me I got to the hospital around 12 in the afternoon I got in the room and set up with my iv around 2 I had blood drawn and they said if I wanted an epidural they had to put it in. They used a numbing medicine and my epidural hurt less than the spinal tap I had for my cerclage at 18 weeks. My contractions started around 630 I went from a 2 to an 8 in 20 minutes so my contractions went from I got this to I'm dying really quick lol I got the actual epidural medicine and had him at 731p. So mine went much quicker than anyone expected. I'm hoping with this one I do not have preclampsia and it will go normal. Everyone has a different experience so there is no way to predict it just try not to stress :) also I have read that castor oil can cause complications like the baby having a bowel movement I know a lot of people who have used it and beenfine but you may want to look into it first. Goodluck try to relax
I was induced with my first and it wasn't bad so don't be afraid of it. Also the baby will come when t hi er ready I had to be induced because of my blood pressure. Goodluck and don't stress!
But yes you need to relax try a warm bath i took my oil before bed so id get some good rest which helped a lot
Thank you... I only took 2 small capfulls. Woman usually take 2 tablespoons... I'm not going to take anymore I'm just going to be patient and let her come. If she doesn't come by Thursday I'll just deal with getting induced... Once again thank you for the good advice and for sharing your story.
I've been induced twice and yes the pitocin makes contractions come stronger but if you are getting an epidural u have nothing to worry about. I went natural with my daughter and epidural with my son either way the minute that baby is on ur chest I forget the pain u just went through. Just relax and try to get some rest before the big day!
So it's not bad to get induced? How does the process go? I heard they give you pitocin and it makes your contractions come back to back super hard and even more painful than how they're feel by you just going into labor on your own. That's what I'm afraid of.
I went to nearly 42 weeks before being induced! Baby will come when ready. I thought being induced was good as there was no rushing to hospital when contractions started and more comfortable trip in. Try to relax. It's the best thing for baby and you.
Yeah i was induced with my first and it was an awful experience but i also did not get an epidural. So iwas determined to not get induced with my secind so i tried readying my bodyband taking castor oil worked. Idk if i farted haha i was sleeping but when i took a poop it was the worst smelling dump ive ever taken o swear my husband was going to throw up.
I took the castor oil a little after 3 and I'm starting to fart like crazy lol. I'm not really cramping but I do feel mild contractions. I'm about to take a hot bath and relax because my legs are sore from walking.
When i took castor oil it took about 6 hours to go into labor and about 7 until i took the biggest dump of my life
Yea I'm just going to throw in the towel on trying to get these contractions going. I really just don't want to have to get induced but I guess that'll be the only way for her to come out.
Yes calm down and relax. She'll come when she's ready.
