@brinnaleigh I hope he understands... I jut hope I tell him and he stays home with me. He wants to take his friend if im not using my ticket.. seriously!! Its stuff gunna be bad if HE is 2 hours away too u know... I have a 2 year old and the 4th is my parents Anniversary so they will be gone too... I would have no one to help then rest of the family will be at the event 2 hours away... I will seriously flip on him if he decides to go lol.
I would just have the hubby blow off some fireworks but I live in NY and it's illegal here unfortunately! @imcplus4 I totally understand where your coming from... I would definitely not want to be two hours away so close to my due date! I would just sit him down and tell him that your really uncomfortable with it, if it was any other time you'd be glad to but being so close to your due date your just uncomfortable going that far. Tell him you don't want to fight about it, your not trying to argue but your just simply not comfortable. He should totally understand.. Maybe try to compromise and go somewhere closer to home and watch fireworks! Personally I don't even want to do that! A nice day by the pool, BBQ and a Bon fire sounds like a great 4th to me!!
I'm due the 6th so I'm probably staying home. Knowing my luck I'd be downtown in all the traffic watching the fireworks and my water would break lol
My hubby wants to drive 2 hours away to go to an event for the forth of July I am 10 days away from my due date. On the forth I will be 7 days away I told him I don't think its a good idea and I want to stay in town but that just caused an agreement between us. He bought tickets anyway ... I don't wanna be 2 hours away and have to deal with traffic if anything happens I really don't wanna go. How do I tell him without causing a huge fight I just wish he understood even if its 7 days to my due date of can happen anytime!!!
I'm due the 8th. But my hubby will be at work unless I go into labor. I won't be doing anything :/
Then stay at hone and if you have a boyfriend or spouse let him pop them and you watch k
I'm due on the 24 as well and I'm going with my family .. i go every year .
Im due the 25th and ill be going out only for my 3 year old..
Do people not just let off their own fireworks?
Obv we don't celebrate July 4th in Britain, but we have Guy Fawkes Night in November and a lot of people have BBQs, bonfires and let off fireworks in their garden. It's always a great night
I don't like crowds at all so I usually go to a friends house that is close to fireworks area and we BBQ and sit out on the porch.
I really want to go out, but the idea if big crowds and being so pregnant makes me uncomfortable. The swimming and BBQ was a good idea. I think maybe ill just have a cook out and go swimming, maybe a Bon fire at night and hopefully cAn see some fireworks from the house! Thanks ladies
I'm due the 15th. Of July I'm going to the parade on Friday and fireworks at night if I'm not too tired
I could care less abt the fourth only reason im going out is because I have a 4yr old
I'm 38 weeks, due on the 16th. I'm going to spend my fourth BBQing with family and swimming in the pool! Idc how massive I am lol. As for fireworks, I plan on going to watch them downtown with my hubby but I will be going straight home after.
