7days old baby poop

How are you new mothers doing? Hope enjoyingeevery moment with your new precious baby....

My son is 7day old today and every time he eats, he poop right away.  He is not lashing well but I pump and give him breast milk in the bottle and he also eat formula.  Is this normal for them to poop alot now?
I asked his pediatrician on our first visit Last week,  and she said that is ok.

Anyone here baby poops alot?

Breast milk is actually a natural laxative, i remember with my son he would start pooping about 5 mins after each feeding.

Wow.... I was so concern if it was normal and okay oh because 10times is an understatement. ... I think I change him more than that. ..... lol but am relief this is ok....

Yes it is..my bby is 5 days and i do breastmilk an formula an at first i thought it was something i did but the doctor told me its normal

Yeah you can be changing a new born up to ten times a day they poo alot and it's fine for newborns to poo whilst feeding as they are most comfortable my son did it all the time. It will slow down and they will poo less and less but even at 1 should go once or twice a day xx
