8 month old sleeping problem!

I know this isnt in the right forum but this is the one with the most feedback...

My 8 month old son started sleeping the night a month and a half ago....but it has been over a week that he doesn't sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time during the night...he will wake up crying and then if i 'leave him cry it out' he gets up in his crib and either hits his head by his hand slipping or intentionnally! I have a video camera monitor so I watch him but he just will not fall asleep on his own again....I have been getting up over 15 times per night and I'm just exhausted...

Oh ick.. Hope he's easy to get back to sleep. Maybe sleep anxiety. Should maybe call your doctor but I don't think it's anything to big to worry bout..

Oh yeah totally forgot bout teething! Sorry it's been 3 years. Very well could be teething.. Sometimes the teeth like to start to come but then go back down. Night time seems to be the time when the teeth hurt the most due to lack of activity. Try some Tylenol infants and or-gel.

Still on breastmilk...he's never had gas though =(... I thought it was teething but he's got his 4 teeth fully cut through now and I don't see any more in sight

I'm guessing gas.. Try some gas drops and do the Sun&Moon on his tummy to help pass gas if that's the problem. Has you recently switched from breast milk to formula or to plain milk?
