8wks....bleeding...
Well after seeing a healthy heartbeat on wednesday, I'm now bleeding bright red blood...quite a bit of it. hubby and I DID have sex last night, but it wasn't rough and the blood didn't appear until like 6 hours later....
I don't even know what to think...2 AMAZING friends are coming to pick me and the kids up at 5AM to bring us to the ER because hubby CAN'T take off of work and we're down to one car until sunday....
I feel awful making them come out, but I just can't stay here and do nothing....I mean, we SAW the heartbeat...I hate this crap. I bled at 7wks with my son and it turned out fine, but it was nowhere near the same amount of blood....
isn't fair.
Update when I can...pray for my baby, ladies.

I'm so glad to read that you had a heart. Grow sticky bean. As the others said I'm so sorry if it is a vanishing twin but, I'm glad you're able to count your blessings. Going to keep checking for updates. I wish you the best 9 months :)
What a jerk! I hate when drs/techs are like that! I'm soo happy to hear that there's at least one heart beat. LOL @ gummie bear, I like it! That little BOY is still in there growing away! ;) It does stink if it was a vanishing twin, but like you said at least it's not vanishing twinS. Grow baby gummie bear, grow! Get all the rest you can get, and keep us updated, as I know you will! Are you still having another u/s Wed?

Glad to hear the one baby is safe and sound and your ok. If it is a vanishing twin I'm sorry to hear that. Get some rest and feel better!

i am glad one baby is still looking good.....bleeding is so scary but bedrest isnt so bad, well as long as you have support around you

I hate techs that are like that. It's horrible that you actually had to ask if there was a heartbeat--they should have told you.
Thanks girls...I'm definitely taking it easy. the friends who took me to the ER stayed around and looked after me for a bit before going home, and hubby came home from work early, so I've got all the help I need....I'm going to try to catch up on some sleep now since I woke up at 4 to find the blood after not being able to fall asleep until almost 2...so I'm completely exhausted.
And I agree Cass - a vanishing twin is sad, but at least it's not a vanishing BOTH twins....I felt like the u/s tech was really unsympathetic, I had to ASK her if there was a heartbeat and she said "mhm" off-handedly....it was irritating. Anyway, at least at the end of the day I've got one gummie bear still in my belly and that's all I could hope for.

I'm glad things are ok with the one baby. If it is vanishing twin, that really stinks, but atleast one baby is going strong. Take it easy! I'm gonna text Sabrina and give her the update (she asked me to) cuz she's off taking care of sick kids.
Glad that baby is doing ok. Be sure to take it super easy!!!! I can't imagine this weekend will be a fun one for you.
Alright guys....update is good and bad news. Good news...baby seems to be OK. bad news...may be a vanishing twin. They can't identify exactly where the bleeding is coming from, so I'm on bed rest through the weekend until my OB gets home monday and we can get in and try to figure it out a little better.
Saw the heartbeat on the one baby, size was good...now to just lie in bed and hope and pray that the bleeding stops.
It's so nerve-wracking....But I am super relieved that one baby, at least, looks to be doing fine...I'll take whatever I can get!
Thank you ALL so much for your compassion and kindness, and most of all your prayers...I'm completely overwhelmed with the support I've received...you ladies are the absolute best.

Cass, I saw the "flower/star" thing and that the post had jumped to the top and though, YAY she updated! Well darn, that's disappointing...oh well, hopefully we'll hear good news soon!
Praying everything is ok. Blood is never reassuring even if you have had normal pregnancies with it.
