You for sure 100% can have contractions that are light n not even painful. I was on constant monitoring for 3 days in hospital last week for a kidney infection I had and I was having contractions and didn't even know it. I was 36 weeks exactly at the time.. like everyone said make sure u time them

It's possible I get intense and mild ones and they are real contractions. The only way to tell for sure though is to go in they put a monitor on you if the sscale in the negatives then they are braxton if they scale in positive they are real but me I only feel intense ones about every hour some people it's just different.

Like above said, I wouldn't worry if they are irregular and only last 15sec. Early labour contractions are regular and will last at least 40-60sec. Keep an eye on them and let your dr know if it changes.

If they are regular they are probably real but if they are unregular then they are probably braxton hics

Not all real contractions are painful. I've delivered 4 babies. Mine are never painful until after my water breaks and I hit the transition phase. They are mostly just uncomfortable.
Like another poster said, it's all about the frequency. Drink a big glass of water and go lie down. If they continue and are in a pattern, it is probably labor. Once they are 5 min apart for an hour, you need to go in.
My best advice is to call your provider and see what they want you to do. At 37 weeks, baby will be OK and they won't stop labor.

Yes I would time them for sure before going to the hospital.

Ugh I don't wanna freak out my boyfriend and not come home with the baby, maybe I'm just freaking myself out, I'll try to time them at work hopefully she's not coming yet it's too soon :(

It's all about  the frequency, if they are irregular I wouldn't worry. if they are consistently 20 min apart, 15 min, 10 min, you could be in the early stages, it's the frequency and duration, that's why they tell you to time  them. contractions can feel different for every woman.

Everyone is different. Real contractions last 60-90 second. Just time them

No. You will definitely know when your having real contractions. They aren't light. You're probably just having braxton hicks. I used to have very intense false contractions.

Honestly my contractions were not painful with my first and because everyone said i would know because it hurts i just stayed home
Lets just make this short...i barely made it to the hospital before i delivered. If you are tracking them 3-5minuets apart for a few hours go get checked. Coming home with no baby ***** but having a baby at home or in the car unplanned is scary
