If you have the recessive gene for green eyes then he could have it of not brown will dominate.
Basically you must have a light eye gene and must pass that gene 50% chance. Bit only if you have the light eye gene. Possible but not likely..sorry. But your baby will be perfect no matter what;)
How it works is you receive one gene for thwarted colour of your eyes from each parent. Brown is ALWAYS dominate. The only possible chance for you to have a child with light eyes is if you have a light eye gene. So one of your parents would have had to pass a light eye gene to you. My bf has brown eyes I have blue ...our daughter has brown and our son has blue so my bf must have a light eye gene which makes sense cuz his mom has green eyes. If only your aunt has blue eyes and without knowing anything else then your chances of having a light eyed child is extremely low.
Im hoping for green eyes for our little one i feel like you and am totally in love with my little one already but i think my baby has a good chance at green or hazel eyes i have blue my hubby has kind of a whiskey colored hazel my grandmother had hazel/green and the same with my brother so heres hoping :p
I would love him no matter what..! But still hoping for those gorgeous green eyes that my hubby has! :)) soo in love with them. Plus he would be the first and so far only grandchild with green eyes. (Fingers-crossed)
Ive been wondering the same except mine are blue n my hubbys r brown
Brown eyes would be dominate but it's not impossible. I have 2 kids with my first husband & he has brown but I have green. Our oldest has green eyes & our second has brown. So it can happen
