How did the baby's father react when you first told him?

How did yalls babies fathers react when yall first told them? I know my boyfriend was in shock at first and now he's starting to come around and joke with me about it and actually talk about it. It scared me at first because he didn't really want to discuss it but now he's starting to seem more open to it and happy.

He was quiet, for about 30 mins. Then he kissed me and said I love you both. Think it took more time for me to accept it than him.

I think guys are different mine reacted badly the first and second time. Hee just didn't want to talk about it. It took a couple of days for him to adjust but he is very happy now.

We were trying for about two months, so mine was kind of prepared. I took a test early Sat morning and got a very faint line. Woke him up and showed him. He was excited. In shock lol. Honestly I don't think it sunk in until the first ultrasound at 6w. But he's always been excited. :)

Disbelief the first time since we had been trying 3 years. This time confusion since I woke him up to show him the test lol. Once he was fully awake he went to buy a digital test since he doesn't trust the ones with the lines lol. Once that one also want positive he was excited.

Me and my boyfriend weren't togethet when i found out i sent him a picture of the test and he was like you pregnant?  And im like clearlyyyyyy lol he was in shock but he knew it was gonna happen bcuz we didnt use protection for about 8 months we were trying for a while then gave up but still wasnt using anything about 15 minutes later he called me asking to get back together he was excited and i think it definitely took me longer to accept the fact then him bcuz i wasnt very happy at first

Well my boyfriend was in jail when I found out so I got a proof of pregnancy paper from my doctor and when his mom and I  went to see him, I just held the paper up to the window for him to see and he read it a few times and looked at his mom and said "is this real?" He teared up a little, stared at me and put his hand up to the glass. He's super excited now

My husband and I tried for almost a year after we lost our son. Every time I thought I had good news I was let down. So August 2 when I started my period I told him im going to focus on me and get my body as healthy as I can. September 14 I went to the store with my sister and at that time I was 2 weeks late but didn't think anything about it. I went to get some alcohol but something was telling me to go buy a test. So I bought two equate and went home and bam a positive! Went back and bought the one that said how many weeks and took it. I called my husband and told him he needed to come home because I had something important to tell him. He came home and I told him to look on the counter and he said"are you serious? !?" Had a big smile on his face. When we found out we were pregnant withmy son he made me take 8 tests lol . Im pretty sure he was in shock. Ill be 35 weeks tomorrow andhe is already wrapped around his daughters finger. He is a mess:) can't wait to have our rainbow baby

My hubs was sleeping so I think confused would have been the initial reaction. Than it was excitement. It took us 8 months of trying so he had a little preparation time. :-)

1st pregnancy: When I told my boyfriend, he got the biggest smile on his face and started to cry of happiness.

2nd pregnancy: He didn't believe me for the longest since I hadn't taken a pregnancy test but once he saw I had morning sickness, he was scared but now he's excited. (:

I am notorious for planning things way in advance lol, so we had been trying for 8 months and had no luck. We had gone to the fertility clinic and got some really bad news, a couple months later we got a second opinion and it confirmed our fears. So we came to terms with the fact that it was just clearly not in God's plan for us. It had taken it's toll on both of us mentally. Well, the week after we got the second opinion, I missed my period. I just knew this was it. I had always been the one doubting it before, after months and months of negative tests. Well I told him I was not gunna take an over the counter test, just get blood work done, so 11 days after my missed period I called the fertility doc and got my blood drawn. The next day we got the call, I made her verify my chart lol. I called my man and said, "what are you doing on October 21st", he is like Jesus I am not planning that far in advance blah blah lol. (Cuz of me and my planning issues) so then I just said well you might wanna clear your schedule cuz we are having a baby that day. :) we were both in complete shock and disbelief. So happy. :)

My hubby and I started trying after august 1st last year when our son turned 1 and we wasn't having much luck and I took a fertility supplement called fertilaid for two weeks and figured it wasn't working but it regulated my period!

on my birthday we went to the movies and a romantic dinner then came home and had good ol birthday sex (nov 16th)

We were planning our wedding and got married December 1st 2013 and I was supposed to start my period that day and didn't so on the 3rd I took a test and it was a positive!!:)))
went in the living room and told my hubby and he just looked at me with the biggest smile and said really?? He said he thought it was gonna be another negative test! Lol
Went to the doctor that week and I was 5 weeks pregnant!!:)

My hubby was very happy and supportive from the start since baby was pretty much planned anyway!!:)
I'm the one that's still in shock! I always tell him I can't believe I'm blah blah weeks and he's like I knowww you've told me already! Lol

Lmao me and my boyfriend started googling the rarity of getting a false positive. Then the next day when we got another positive, we googled the rarity of having 2 false positives. When it finally sunk in he put one arm around me and one on my tummy and told me he loved us both.

my husband told me i was pregnant. i was in denial for a while. eventually he  bought me a preg. test, since i was avoiding  it.  so  when it came back positive he smiled  laugh ed and kept telling me he knew it.  i asked how  he was so positive about me being pregnant and he simply said because i ate  the entire  fridge. lol.

I definitely didn't believe I was pregnant but he did. I took 3 test and then scheduled a urine test with my doctor. That still wasn't enough so I asked for an Ultrasound a week or 2 later. He was crying tears of joy and I was crying tears th sadness. Hahah, but I came around to the thought of having a little one with his help! :) This honestly has created a stronger bond between Him and I. We are truly happy and very excited!!!
