bit of advice please
so thomas is now 3 days old. today hes been having trouble keeping his feeds down. he has 1-2oz of baby formula every 2 hours ish but tonight he keeps bringing what looks like the whole feed back up. is this normal cz he a newborn or should i have him checked. also ive been getting bad back pain and really bad period like cramps but hardly bleeding again is this normal.
How often are you burping him? Try to get a burp out of him every 1/2 oz or so. If he's got a burp trapped in there the formula will come up with the gas.
Make sure he is being winded regularly...my son brought up a lot of milk until someone explained i had to do it (they focused so much on breastfeeding in the classes that they didnt explain how to bottle feed - i simply didnt produce anything so had to).
I sounds like it could be reflux. If you're sure that it's quite a bit coming up I would talk to the pediatrician when you take him in for a checkup. My daughter had really bad reflux, but the meds didn't do anything for her.

He may need sensitive baby formula, both of my kids did. You might try a can and see if that helps or call his pediatrician my second child had bad reflux and had to have medicine for it.
