I am 17 weeks pregnant and worried about my child. Is it normal to have no symptoms? I have no bleeding and no pain.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I have no symptoms. I feel a little crampy from time to time but nothing to the point where it really hurts. I'm not experiencing any morning sickness though I do gag alot. This is my first pregnancy and i really dont know what i'm doing. My doctor is of no help. And i dont know anyone else who has had their symptoms stop. Ohhh and i'm not showing. Please i need help to understand what i'm going through.

Well, that is great  then!! If all looks ok so far, then you are probably just worrying for nothing..

But t hat is what we do!! =)

I liked Joy's suggestion of getting a book that you could  look to for reference, or you could always just google it..

Good luck!

Let us know how your u.s on the 24th goes!!

With my first one, I had no signs or symptoms, and I didn't even find out I was pregnant until 7 months.  So it's not, not normal.  It's perfectly normal.  It's just how well your body is handling pregnancy!

I have been going to my appt.'s regularly and he heard the heart beat and everything. My next ultra sound isnt until the 24th. i know i'm probably being very paranoid but I'm just worried that this wont happen. I was one of those women who was told that having children would be a hrad tough road and that if I did get pregnant that i would have to be extra special careful. But thank you for answering. I'm glad that i'm not alone.

I was only *slightly* showing at 17 weeks, I had tons of sickness... Each woman (and pregnancy) is totally different. Have you had regular appt.'s and an u/s?

A great idea would be to get Your Pregnancy Week-By-Week. It's about $10 a Walmart and will take you through your entire pregnancy, what is normal and what's not.

The 2nd trimester is known as the best time in pregnancy because you do feel really good. Doesn't mean anything is wrong! Enjoy the time.
