Advice from already mommies please.!

Okay so I'm due the 8th of December and my parents are going outta town for Christmas, well my sister planned to do a Christmas dinner and have all of us go over but now that my mom is going outta town she expected it to be just my fiance and I. Well she's having problems with her husband and will be alone with the kids and I just realized that I most likely won't be able to go over for Xmas cause the baby will have already been born and she'll be too small so my question is if weather permits and is in 60s do you ladies think I should take her to my sister's? I live in Texas and weather is crazy over here so it can change anytime. I don't wanna risk any sicknesses to my baby but I feel bad about my sister being alone on Christmas.

Move the dinner to your house. If possible. Or bundle baby up really tight. Just a car ride from one house to the next is not bad. Done parents don't want to take baby out until after 6 weeks. It's up to you though. But as I said, it wouldn't hurt baby to take a car ride. Just if you decide that, dress her warm, and pack on the blankets from transition from house to car.
