Yes it is common to develop hemmerhoids during pregnancy. You wuold notice burning or itching around the anus that may or may not be accompanied by bleeding associated with having a bowel movement.
I think it would be very prudent for you to be seen by a physician. Check you area and see if there are any health clinics that could assess you free or on a sliding scale based on income. You may also call the health department and ask them if this is something they can help you with. Unfortunately your symptoms could be reality to a whole host of different conditions...some minor, some serious...so it would be extremely wise to find a way to be seen.
Another option: hospitals that accept medicaid are considered as government funded...they can NOT turn you away for inability to pay. Once you have been seen and you receive the bill you can contact the billing department and ask them if they have any credits or charities that can be applied to your bill. If a big procedure or test needs to be performed you can meet with them ahead of time to work out the details of a discounted price and payment plan. In feb of last year I was uninsured and fell down the stairs-I hit my head on the block wall so hard I blacked out for a few seconds. I went to the ER and they did a CT Scan which is very expensive, but becuase I was uninsured they automatically applied a charity to my bill and all I ended up paying was $200 for the ER physician...The other charges were in the thousands.
well i just found out today that my insurance may have ended if so i cant afford to see a doctor. if its not pregnacy (and with me being postpartum) does anyone have an idea on what Maybe causing these symptoms? i dont know if it could have anything to do with my other syimptoms but i also started having rectal bleeding the night before last. i heard u can get hemeroids from pregnacy but i dont know if its anything to really be worried about or if itll just resolve its self if thats what it is.
I agree with spade. Especially if you are postpartum. You need to be evaluated for other conditions that could be causing these problems.
A HPT will detect pregnancy about 2 weeks after conception so....... if the last time you had sex was July 20th a HPT will be 100% accurate at this point. Please make an appointment with your doctor regarding the leg swelling. This can indicate something very serious is going on.
When was the last time you had unprotected sex?
You need to see a doctor! Leg swelling is not an early pregnancy symptom and needs to be evaluated by a dr.
ok *whue* thank you so much for your help! :)
Most of those symptoms you wouldn't have in early pregnancy. Especially not "butterflies" in your stomach. Having a baby can mess up your cycle so that could be why you are having a late period. If you are getting negative tests I doubt you are pregnant. However, I would highly suggest getting one birth control because you really wouldn't want to have another baby right away.
