Thanks very much for your advice,i must admit it hasnt happened since..so maybe it was just stretching...fingers crossed stay away...
Hi... I don't know if I'll be much help to you, but I believe round ligament pain typically doesn't start up until the second trimester (it's the strain that those ligaments get from the extra weight and pull of the baby in your uterus). So again, anything is possible, but I think at 8 weeks, that's probably not the cause of your pain. And like durhamjk1 said, it tends to happen when you make a sudden movement or sneeze or get up too quickly.
It's definitely good to keep an eye on it, and if you get it again, I'd say give your OB a call to let them know (just to rule out anything scary... and then that way you can put your mind at ease too). Either way... good luck.
Well its good to see i got alot of response,i always like to help out if i can offer advice, but obviously none for me.ah well.thanks to durhamjk1 for your advice...

Hiya many thanks for your reply,to be honest i was stood in kitchen cooking, and they just came all of a sudden, yes it feels like i had been stabbed, and each one increased.only for few seconds, gone again, its seemed to have gone again now..im hopeing thats what it was...thanks again..
I started getting them about this time. It does sound like round ligament pain to me. Do you notice they increase in frequency when you move a certain way, get up really fast, cough, sneeze, etc.?? That is when round ligament pain was and still is more likely to happen for me and I am 23 weeks 5 days. It feels like someone stabbed you in your stomach, but does not last long.
