How did you tell your parents you are pregnant?

My mom knew before I did. She kept asking me I kept telling her no. After awhile I got tired of her asking me so I decided to take a test to prove to her I wasn't. Come to find out the test itself came out positive. I showed my mom, she obviously knew cause she said I looked atleast 5months pregnant. Went to the doctors that day, & my mom was on the dot, I was exactly 5months(20weeks)
I'm still pregnant, I'm overdue ..41w&1d. Getting induced this coming Monday.

I had an abortion 4 years ago when I first met my bf my son was almost 2 and I had just left my husband o wasn't ready. You obviously think you're ready now and want the baby and you're so far along so its not like they'll ask if you'll abort this one. Just tell them you feel ready and happy. They'll either be nice or mean but you know they'll find out in the next 20 weeks anyway you should just tell them.

I texted my mom and when. I got home she wasn't talking to me that's when she told my dad and I thought I was gonna get in trouble but that's when they both sat down and told me its a blessing and that they'll be there for me...

I was 21 and wasn't married to my husband at the time and afraid to tell my parents. My step mom just assumed I was and I told her the truth. She then told my dad who I had to confront later on. It was scary, but it was worth it. The fear of them knowing was stressing me out too much. I have my parent's support and they're really excited for their first grandchild.

I'm 18, almost 19. What makes it harder is where I had an abrtion early last year. I was still in school at the time so it seemed like the best thing to do. They all freaked and there were alot of not nice things said to me

How old are you? when I was 17 I wrote my dad a letter since I'm a daddys girl and he was the sweet one out of my parents. I explained to him that I love him and that I just need support and I'm keeping the baby and to please just be there for me while I need him the most. I left it for him before I went to school I came home he just hugged me and told me he loved me. I asked him to talk to my mom because she was crazy and I listened as he told her she freaked and said I needed an abortion he told her no and she didn't talk to me for 3 weeks until I got my first ultrasound then she went baby crazy so it turned out nice. It's not easy and it's scary but in the end you'll be happier if they know even if they aren't happy at least you aren't stressing. And now I'm 23 on my second little boy I still live with my dad with my bf I've had for 4 years. We help take care of my little brother after my mom died and I was scared to tell him since he houses us even though we do pay him 600$ rent he still pays extra for us. So I had my 5 year old tell him with me I figured it would sound cuter coming from him. My dad was a little upset but hugged me and he's happy we're even giving our son his name as a middle name because my dad has always been the best. Just find a way that makes you comfortable. I couldn't face my daddy at 17 so I wrote a letter some have doctors do it some have a sibling do it in the end it's best they just know.

We found out together. We went to the doctors multiple times before and no thing never came up. Until I kept sleeping and complaining abt headaches. And we went to the doctors and I was 18 weeks.

I've been to doctor and go to prenatal every 4 weeks. I've had 3 ultrasound too. Just none of my family know. Only my sister

My mom already knew i guess mothers have those instinct...she knew bfo i did i was 17 im now 24 and prego with my second little girl
Good luck, i know its not easy, but its best for them to know right away you need to get cheaked asap!

We found out together at the drs. She made me an appointment because I was sick. The Dr came in and told us.

My older sister had to tell her I got the biggest fever ever was at the 100s just thinking & stressing over trying to find a way to tell them & just didn't have the guts to tell my parents. So my sister helped me out

I just said sat her down and told.. I was SOOOOOOO scared.. But it didn't turn out bad. She yelled for a minute, then after that was fine. Cried a bit, but hey! What's the worst thing that can happen right.

My mom took me to get on bc and the lady was like ohh you cant get it today. She asked ifsi a anted her to tell my mom and I said yes. Best Decision I ever made. I dont think I would have had the balls to just say it

Sat down to talk to her & said that i missed my period & i took a test & im pregnant. She didnt think i was because i was in the hospital a few days before and the test came back neg. Turned out i was.

It dont get easier what ever the age!...and im 23 and married! Its still scary!
