Already Mommas..

So, I got an epidural a month ago when I had my son... And since having him I've had minor back pains. But lately I've been losing feeling in my back.. And losing feelings in my hands.

Last night, I had a pulsating pain that was so painful... Lol I scared my husband so bad.. We almost had to go in.

What I'm asking... Is it normal? Or should I tell a doc. Now do I tell my OB doctor or a primary doctor?
Thank you, in advance.

Everyone I've known that has gotten an epidural has ended up with back problems. I would call your doctor just to see what they have to say.

I didnt have an epidural but i know carrying a newborn and your body trying to get back to normal can reek havoc on your body but numbness is usually a sign of nerve blockage.  I would tell your doctor.

I had back pain and tightness at the epidural site for a couple of months afterwards. No tingling in my hands. But while you lose the water weight and your joints tighten back up it can do all kinds of things to your body. You can try a chiropractor.

Definitely talk to your doctor about that.
I had back pains after giving birth to my son. I thought forever that it was from the epidural but when I lost 20 lbs the pain completely went away. It was the extra weight I was carrying causing my problems. Lol
As for the numbing and other problems that seems like something you should tell your doctor right away.

I know a lot of women including myself that still have back pains after an epidural...I had to get one...I wasn't going to get it, but I had to have a c section...it'll give you back pain for life in my opinion

Definitely tell your doctor. I got one 6 years ago and sometimes I do have back pain since having her but it could be just getting older lol. So I would talk to my dr, and maybe ur ob since you think it's labor related?

I didn't get an epidural but I did have back pain because my body was shifting back into its normal place. Idk what explain you losing feeling in your hands though. I would deff talk to your doctor. And if you feel you need to go to the hospital then so be it. Better safe than sorry.
