I'm 37 weeks and am having mild period like cramps. What's going on?

Could be or they could be braxton hicks contractions which are practice contractions before the big day. Try drinking a large glass of water and laying down. If the continue and start getting closer together and more painful then head to the hospital. If they are irregular and lessen when you move and lay down then the are most likely false.

Ya I sat up and they went away. Lol just scared me I dont know what real contractions are like lol

For me real contractions were very strong period like cramps...your whole tummy will get very hard. Good Luck!
