Am I pregnant?

Hi to all -
I have a tough one for you guys, but bare with me. My period is four days late from its anticipated time of arrival. Yesterday (3 days after expected) i took a pregnancy test and it came up negative, however I have yet to get it. My breasts are sore, but this usually happens when I get my period. My boyfriend and I have been having sex but protected with a condom, I'm not on the pill, (about to start though). To my knowledge nothing has happened to increase the risk of pregnancy no condom breakage or anything. Do we think my cycle is just out of whack? Ive been having mild cramping and my lower back hurts as well - all signs of my normal period - but im not sure if this could also be signs of pregnancy. Any input you all would have would be great! Thank you!

I would say if the condoms were used correctly then pregnancy is probably not the case. You may be late due to stress as you havent yet got your period. I would wait another week and if you period hasnt arrived go to the doctors to get looked at just in case and do not take the pill until you have started your period!

I would venture to say that you are probably not pregnant if you have been using protection...although it's not 100%. If you don't get your period in about a week, I would go to the doc and get a blood test. You could have just ovulated later than normal, and that is what would throw off your cycle a bit. Just wait and see, and don't start the pill until you know for sure. Hope that helps you!

I would proberly hold off on starting on the pill until you know for sure ,
and also i would wait about 1 more week if you still havent recieved your period
i would go to the doctor to make sure there is nothing wrong , it might also be a result of
stress , that can sometimes make a period late.
Hope that helps u out a bit .
Cheers
