Am I pregnant?

I had intercourse on March 30th.  I take oral contraceptives daily and we used a condom, but the condom came off at some point.  On Tuesday (April 7th), I became ill with a severe headache and I vomited a couple of times, and ever since (today is Sunday April 12th), my stomach has been slightly sore (not hurting, just uncomfortable) and I have been having some issues with deep breathing.  I can rarely get a deep breath.  My nipples are also somewhat sensitive, but it may just be from where I'm worried about being pregnant.  Please give me any advice or input about this that you can.  Thank you.

Actually, I rarely throw up.  I used to have migraines but those seemed to subside when I was placed on Synthroid for my hypothyroidism.  The headache at issue was gone after Tuesday, and Tuesday is the only time that I threw up.  I am definitely going to make an appointment with the doctor if my breathing does not get back to normal, because it's really starting to scare me.  My stomach is starting to feel a little better, but the breathing is about the same, if not worse.  Thank you for your response, because it really helped to put my mind at ease about my #1 worry (pregnancy).  I'm open to other input as well, if anyone else has any.

The chances of pregnancy are very low (less than 2%) and getting sick on April 7th would NOT be pregnancy-related as it would be too soon to develop symptoms - there is still a small chance that you are pregnant though.  I would suggest taking a home pregnancy test on April 14th as that will give you some definitive answers.

In the meantime, have you thought about seeing a doctor? Not being able to breath deeply is not normal and is something that warrants investigation.   Severe headache w/ vomiting is also something you should mention to your doctor.  Do you have a history of migraines?  If not, I highly recommend you see a doctor about the headache especially if this is something that is out of the ordinary for you.
