Ameda breast pump

Has anyone used one?

I didn't go through the pharmacy I used my insurance website.  Maybe try that to see if there are more options.  Honestly the medela through insurance doesn't give you enough of the necessary accessories.  Although buying them may not be a problem.  I just didn't want to spend the extra money.

Yeah I thought my insurance covered medela but at the pharmacy they said ameda I was kind of disappointed. I've never heard about the ameda one so I don't know how well it works.

That's the one I got with my insurance.  I haven't used it yet obviously lol. However I know the other common choice is the medela or However you spell it. I did use that one with my last and it worked great.  However bought that for myself with all the accessories.  With insurance you don't get anything but the pumping unit and attachments and  will most liking end up needing to purchase an ice cooler bag for storing the milk while away from home and the ac adapter if you need it for travel ect. The Ameda comes with all of those things so its a huge money saver.
