Another update on Conner

Well The baby drama has returned. I thought that Conner would tolerate being on Soy, but I was wrong again. He tolerated the Soy for a few days, and all his allergy symptoms have returned. His rash is coming back, he is spitting up again, extremely fussy, and now constipated.

I do believe my son has MSPI(milk/Soy Protein Intolerance, and therefore I called my doctor to request a prescription of Neocate Formula. Im also hoping WIC will cover it with a RX from the doctor aswell.

I just don't know what to do anymore, Im exhausted from no sleep, The constant crying is getting to me, and Im just at a loss. I want my baby to be happy, but it seems almost impossible. I hope I get some relief or a happy baby in the time to come. But for now, Im going to go lay on the couch and watch TV. Im tired

He'll be a happy baby once his tummy settles! This definitely won't last forever, though it is very hard in the moment. WIC should cover that formula, at least I hope so! Poor baby and momma! *HUGS*

I'm sorry too... but you're doing everything you can, and you should be proud of yourself for that!! It WILL get better. Have you given any thought to re-establishing your breast milk supply?? It takes a lot of work, I've heard, but it may be very well worth it. You should talk to your doctor about it. Breastmilk is easiest on baby's tummy, causes less spit up (because baby can control the amount he needs to consume) and made especially for him. Nursing also calms fussy babies. Something to think about........

I am sooo sorry you are going through this..

It seems to be a fairly common problem and you would think the Dr.'s would have better options for babies with these allergies and things..

I hope WIC covers it too.. It should I would think.. Its not like you can control his allergies, ugh..
