Answers on IUD removal anyone???
I had my IUD (Mirena) removed August 16th and had sex on the 17th. Is it possible to be pregnant that fast??? I did not have any symptoms until 3 days ago.
Usually after you remove mirena it takes a week or two to even ovulate. I would wait and test in a week.
Thank you for your answer!! See I never had a "period" while on the Mirena, so I am going on strictly symptoms! I just have this gut feeling. I took a test today but it was negitive. I guess I will try in another week. I definitely have PLENTY of tests!
It depends on where you were at in your cycle and if you were ovulating. You can take a pregnancy test two weeks from the 17th for an accurate result. However most women don't begin to show pregnancy symptoms until 12 days past ovulation or later as the embryo doesn't even implant until 7-12 days past ovulation.
