Any other mommies go thru this with their little one?(already mommies)

So I took my little girl to the doctor today and they ordered an upper GI test, she goes tomorrow at 8:30 am.she can't eat for six hours prior which is goin to be so hard so please pray for her and me..but have any of you mommies been thru this or similar things?they seem to think she has reflux and want to see what's going on..she's spitting up thick clear fluid with only a little milk and it comes out of her nose and mouth and she gets choked to the point where she can't breathe and turns all red and her lips look almost blue..I suction her and turn her over and pay her back each time, just so scared and don't know what to do..I'm a ftm and she is one week and four days old today.

Not to mention im going on little sleep and I'm so scared of everything.im scared to ren sleep bc I don't want her to choke.i cry all the time it seems like.im very anxious about everything and I just want to be a good mama and I'm scared I'll fail at that..I'm just so emotional,I'm bawling as I write this..I also miss my husband something fierce.he went back to work Monday after a week off with me and babygirl and it is just so hard for me to be apart from him.im sorry I'm just babbling.any advice or opinions are appreciated..thanks in advance ladies❤

I know how you feel.  There are times where her dad or mom have to just hold her while she screams because I can't get it together. Seeing your child in pain is the worst.

My little girl had the upper g i twice but they didnt find anything. Turned out to be milk & soy allergy. She was throwing up all the time but not doing what your baby girl is doing. Sounds like could be a blockage but idk . Good luck . Oh and the test isnt bad just the nasty stuff they have to drink

My daughter has extreme gas pains and acid reflux.
She'll have such bad gas pains where she'll just scream and practically lose her voice.
She's on 3 different gas drops and ranitidine(15 mg, .08 mg, 2 times a day). for the reflux.  She didn't have to do what test you're talking about though. Her dr just prescribed it yesterday for her.  She's also on this probiotic powder I add into her formula.  I don't know why she has all these problems.  She was born at 38+3.
We also have to burp her after every ounce of formula.
To help with the reflux, make sure she sits up right when feeding and keep her in a sitting position for 30 minutes after she eats.
My daughter is a few days shy of 2 months and has had these issues since she was 3 days old.
Good luck momma. It's rough.  There are days where I don't sleep much because she's so uncomfortable.  She also will only sleep on her tummy which seems to help.
Being a mom to a newborn is hard, but when they need extra care. .. It's even harder.
I hope the meds work for your little one!
