Anyone with experience with this

They " measured" me last night with tape n I'm measuring 4 weeks bigger, now I know that's not too accurate that way but what kinda reasons would I be measuring 4cm's bigger????

I'm just concerned because the midwife seemed concerned so now I'm worried :/

like anniebrooke I haven't been measured at all and I'm 28 weeks.  My doctor goes by ultrasound and he just makes sure i'm gaining enough weight.

My doctor never once measured me with the tape.  It was ultrasounds or nothing.  I wouldn't worry for one moment about what the tape measure says.  What if there is just a little extra fat on your tummy?  What if she accidentally didn't start the tape at the exact same spot as before?  It's not that useful a way to tell a thing.

It could be from anything. Measuring through the tape is VERY inaccurate and for now you shouldn't worry too much. Babies position, your own body size/weight gain, fluid amount, babies size, etc. I was 33 weeks and measured to be 27 with a tape. Had an ultrasound, she showed to be 32 weeks 6 days and was 4 pounds as an estimated weight. Try not to worry about it too much. I'm sure everything's fine.

Me too! I am 25 weeks and measuring 29. The doctor didnt seem concerned for me, just said that I am having a big baby! My last baby was 10 lbs at birth, so I am a little nervous. He is sending me for the glucose test to rule out diabetes.
