Arguing about sex...

yesterday and today my boyfriend and I have argued about not having sex. I'm 39weeks and my sex drive has been high this whole pregnancy, and it was high before I was pregnant too. It's been almost a month since we've done anything and I understand his point that he doesn't feel comfortable having sex because of the baby, but I still have needs of my own. What hurts the worst is he doesn't understand how I feel about it and he says I'm a sex addict because I'm not thinking about the safety of the baby, when I know sex doesn't even hurt her. What should I do ?

For men its like an alien in side of you he might not like the feeling when baby moves when he touches you and dont forget your cervix is just inside that can be a bit scary for him if he is hitting that

Some men really dont grasp how protected the baby is in there and how good sex can be for you and even the baby...baby gets rocked to sleep if its night and babies keeping you up, plus when you feel good baby feels good, and also can trigger labor when babies ready to come out! I wish men would understand

Ahhh no I know the feeling though I have not really talked to my boyfriend about it but it certainly doesn't happen as much as I would like it to..he's aware it doesnt hurt baby..I think he's more worried about hurting me because I have so much pelvic pain! But maybe try different positions if you haven't already but it sounds like its just his comfort level which may not change before baby comes!

Yes, he's gone to every single one of my appointments with me. He says after the baby he'll go back to normal but he just doesn't feel comfortable. So that leaves me stuck and feeling alone.

Has he gone to doctors appointments with you where the doctor could reassure him babies fine?
