BBT Charting

hi i am new to this BBT charting i took my temperature this morning the first time it said 97.1 then 96.9  then 96.7 i dropped back to sleep and awoke an hour later then it was 97.1 which temperature do i  use and why did it change also i sleep around 2 -3 in the morning and i wake up varying times does that affect my BBT

Correct.  Even if you work and it is the weekend, set an alarm, take your temp and go back to sleep if you want.  But you have to take your temp at the same time each morning.

Fertility Friend is a great web site you can use to chart and very informative.  You can even sign up for a free charting course though them.  It is right on their home page.  It's not really a class.  It is just reading material, but you will learn A LOT!!!

so you could set an alarm to wake up at a certain time and take ityou do not have to wait till you naturally wake up and which temperature should i use for this morning

It is super important to take your temperature at the same time each morning.  That is the only way to get an accurate read pattern.  It will take an entire cycle or two before you see a pattern.  It is best to start BBT at the beginning of your cycle also.
